Another serious Blow!! Vice President Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik airs grievances about MDP and President Nasheed

Blow after blow is leaving the MDP regime and Mohamed Nasheed’s Presidency crippled, helpless and in crisis. Today the Vice President Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik lashed against the President and the MDP party revealing the truth that we have sensed all along..
As the leader of virtually the only political party still standing beside MDP and Nasheed (out of the six political parties that formed the coalition), he became the Vice President and several other positions have been awarded to members of his party.
Every party that joined the MDP coalition left for the same reasons within months of formation of government, citing the very clear dictatorship, corruption and involvement in scandalous in-human degrading acts of governance within days of coming to power.
Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik and his party are the last one standing. Today he said he is left excluded treated like a leper and he is very unhappy with the conduct of President Nasheed, describing him as, paranoid, suspicious, full of mistrust incapable of delegation and possessive of his post and the government.
Dr Waheed clearly stated that even though Nasheed and MDP were able to secure power due to the coalition, from the beginning, it was clearly an authoritarian one party rule that was hostile to members from the other parties in the coalition, although these parties were the sole reason why he was able to secure enough vote to come to power in the second round.
Dr Waheed in the face of rebukes and exclusion has shown extreme resilience but it looks like even his patience is wearing thin. Dr Hassan Saeed the leader of DQP and Hon Grasim Ibrahim the leader of JP, who secured the 3rd and 4th in the first round of Presidential election left the coalition within days citing President Nasheed and members from his party as in-human, barbaric that has no respect for democracy and freedom.
If Dr Waheed the last man standing from the coalition and also holding the position of Vice President leaves than the regime will go into immediate crisis. This dirty laundry was aired within days of the resignation of Muizz Adnan from the Presidential Commission established by Nasheed using decree; citing the Commission not only dictatorial, but highly influenced by the President himself with very questionable activities going on in a bid to get his political competitors from the main opposition parties.
How long Dr Waheed will continue saving the regime despite of getting treated like a second class alien; only time will tell. Although the dictatorial, tyrannical despotic acts against his allies and also acts against the people with redundancies and denial of salaries is bringing his regime to crisis, he is adamant on forming Provinces in a bid to politically control the island and atoll councils that will be elected under the decentralisation provision in the Constitution. Nasheed needs to do some serious thinking before it is too late.
