Ruling MDP Mob led by Ministers attack the main opposition DRP office burn the party flag and replace it with the ruling party MDP’s flag


The series of violent daily riots held by the current government joined by the President himself turned violent last night. Out of control, Police attempts to intervene failed, and the ruling Party officials broke into the main opposition DRP’s Head Office in the Capital Male’ destroying the premises.
The Police officers for the first time tried to intervene the violent riots held by the ruling party MDP and paid a hefty price, as nine Police officers were seriously injured by the government mob, some of them still in intensive care. The ruling party supporters claimed in pro government newspapers that the Police can work in the Maldives as long as they do it to protect the interests of the ruling party and the President otherwise they will be attacked.
The Police and Military too scared to prevent the riots held by the ruling party were unable to prevent the ruling party officials attack on the main opposition party’s head office.
The MDP mob led by Minister’s and Prominent members of the ruling MDP broke into the DRP office, burned the flag and then hoisted the ruling MDP’s very own flag. They then vandalised the office causing damages to not only the furniture’s but also the building itself.
Angry mobs with the President himself in the front line attacked the Supreme Court Judge’s house and is calling for the resignation of all the Judges and Lawyers in the Judiciary in their series of protests.
Meanwhile the President held an urgent meeting with the Judicial Committee members he appointed in an attempt to replace all the Judges and Lawyers accusing them of being bias.
Angry mobs belonging to the government is continuously protesting in the streets of the Capital and attacking civilians. The Police last night officially warned on the national TV that the political crisis in the Country is out of their control and the violent riots have made the streets of Maldives a dangerous place for Civilians to come out, particularly in the Capital therefore appealed the people to stay indoors.
