Nasheed the Asian Mugabe’s war on democracy continues with the attacks focus changing from the Parliament to the Judiciary, today he ordered the Military to lock the doors of the Supreme Court and disable the Judiciary.

The Asian Mugabe Nasheed’s attempt to get rid of the some of the most vocal MP’s by getting the Military to arrest them on sedition charges got international attention and the attempts have to be temporarily abandoned at the 11th hour. The large scale of arrests of the MP’s from the opposition and secure a majority by locking them behind bars when it failed for now, he suddenly changed his focus from the Parliament to the Maldives Judiciary and the subtle Judges there. The man’s attempt to take control of all three separation of powers its done so transparently, many can easily predict what his next move will be, but are helpless to stop him as he is using the Military and the Police to violently crackdown any attempt to thwart his dictatorial accumulation of power. Today once again the Military in full riot gear went ahead and closed all access to the Supreme Court.
Last week Asian Mugabe Nasheed tried to get his violent appointee to the Judicial Service Commission to shout and scream all the way through the Oath taking ceremony of some 59 Judges working for the Judiciary. This kind of barbaric thug behaviour is the only tactic this Mugabe knows and even those activists he employs at the top lacks the discipline and resort to threatening behaviours to get what they want. Lacking both communication and diplomacy skills their continuous engage in abusive behaviours, are the main reasons why there is so much violence in our streets since this man became the ruler. Regardless of her screams in a bid to employ the cronies hand selected by Mugabe Nasheed the Judges went ahead and took their Oath angering the Dictator to once again to a maze and haze of madness. Today we are bearing the consequences with the Military cracking down on the Judiciary per his order.
Since declaring himself the Commander in Chief of the armed force, he has been using the Military and the Police at his disposal to do whatever he likes and carry out his dictatorial acts.
The transitional chapter of the Constitution says many things and we have never achieved anything by the stipulated times. Even the Parliamentary election was held way past the date stipulated in the Constitution and this did not affect the validity of the election. This goes for the Council Elections. However taking the past sell by date, and trying to blackmail the Parliament in appointing the President’s nominated Candidate as the Head of the Judiciary and the Supreme Court, the President got his Crony Attorney General to rant in front of the media earlier today, that the Judiciary face a Constitutional void if the crony selected by the President is not appointed today and hours later the Head of the slaves of the President that heads the Military, the corrupted Moosa Ali Jaleel with his terror group went and locked the doors of the Supreme Court and took the keys away.
Asian Mugabe has managed under the guise of following IMF advice to minimise costs, to dispose of everyone in the Judiciary, in the government, in the Police, in the Military that he sees as supporters of the previous government. The victims in their thousands were disposed and their employment deprived because he and his activists are suspicious of any who will not sign for their party. However even this seems to be not enough and all of his acts ruled by an addiction to more power, he is now after conquering exclusive powers in the Judiciary as well as the Parliament.
It became impossible to do so with the Parliament, as except for money hungry vultures like Ahlan Fahmy, MP for Kulhudhufushi, and other few that he blackmailed using cases of alleged corruption, many will not sign for his thuggish party. The arresting of the opposition MP’s in an attempt to secure a majority did not go down well either.
Now he is adamant that he gets exclusive control of the Judiciary and has been engaged in a heavy crackdown on the Judiciary for over a week. His influence and authority over the Military and the Police means they this is the second time in a week they locked the doors of the Justice and Supreme Court building and locked the doors. After throwing the Judges out.
Attempt to grab and accumulate power by this man and always using the armoured forces of the Military to do so have made our life’s miserable with criminals engaging in murders among other violent crimes, like last week 5 people getting stabbed in one attack. Unable to rule the country all he does is declare himself the Head of the Military an the Police and get them to harass and intimidate the Independent powers of the Maldives. Two weeks before it was the Parliament, and the last two weeks the Police and the Military are send to harass the Judges in the Judiciary and the whole Judiciary system. Not only the Military and the Police, but the violent thugs that support the Asian Mugabe kept attacking Judges even at their homes.
Mohamed Nasheed has overthrown the Civilian rule established by President Maumoon during the transition process and constantly the culture of rule is that of a Dictator using the army, the Military and the Police to assault on the democratic powers of the country in a bid to own all the three separation of powers.
Many Maldivian for quite some time, refuse to regard him as a President and calls him the Maldives Mugabe and Asian Hitler. He had got rid of all his coalition partners and recently arrested the Leaders of the parties that helped him to secure the Presidency and now sedition charges against them are filed with the not so independent Prosecutor General.
The helplessness in the Judiciary means once again we need help from the international community to stop this latest assault by the President and the Military he controls.
The behaviour he is engaging in every other day sending the Military to harass either the Parliament or the Judiciary and arrest and attack officials that work there means there are serious doubts on whether we should let the man continue as the President.
We call on the international communities to pressure this man to stop his illegal and unconstitutional assault on the Judiciary. We call on the Military to stop engaging in the dictatorial unconstitutional orders given by this mad man Nasheed. Instead of helping a Dictator to conquer and accumulate exclusive powers, we call on the Military to start upholding the Constitution, democracy, and rule of Law in the Maldives. At the moment the Military following this man’s every whim the people are not only losing their faith in you, but are scared out of their wits due to the violent armoured tactics you are using to please this mad man Nasheed.
