Nasheed fulfils the dreams of his and his party MDP’s very own Supreme Court, time to act and end this as even a Dictator cannot rule against the people’s wishes

It has been stated that a Dictator can rule against the Parliament, even claim the Judiciary as Nasheed did, but never against the people. We have a Dictator who just fulfilled the dreams of the MDP his very own party that opened their own Courts in our streets and sentenced opposition leaders to death, by making the Maldives Judiciary their own, after the President using decree appointed four of his own most trusted cronies and formed a new Supreme Court.
We have to measure the life we had before this man came to power. Everything the economy, the social spheres, the political spheres established to benefit the people and maximise peace and stability of the country are being destroyed by the man within a matter of two years.
Time to act against this mad man’s attempt to become a supremo or more like play God in the Maldives and over the Maldivian people. This is a man who does not care even an ounce about the social and economic suffering of the people, but is doing everything he can to represent the interests of his thug group MDP while pursuing a blind addiction to exclusive power.
We have to save our nation and ourselves. Instead of relying on people power and democracy this man is trying to stay in power by resorting to one man rule, and is acting like a Supreme Leader, in control of everything.
Dictatorships destroy nations and people suffer under dictatorships, as we have been experiencing since this man came two years ago. Dictators are the only ones that depend on weapons and control the Military and the Police then use them as tools to implement their atrocious acts, as this man does.
We calling the man a Dictator, because this man since coming to power never saw it necessary to follow what the majority says or wants, but always follow his and his minority group MDP, that also after securing power in the name of a Coalition representing several political parties.
Just like Dictators do the man; to suppress public discontent lies over and over again often repeating himself, as he has done about sewerage systems, flats and transport systems etc.
The most common feature of a Dictator we see from the man is his hiding behind lie after lie about doing things democratically to hoodwink us his own people as well as the international community. Just before forming the MDP Supreme Court he got his Sahaaf to tell the AFP that he is appointing 4 cronies and forming a new Supreme Court, while on the same breath Sahaaf said all this is happening because the parliament refused to endorse the old Cabinet he reappointed.
Dictators that lie to become supreme leaders; their days are always numbered. Their ultimate end comes from their own attempts to hide their dictatorship. However such an end could take a long time therefore it is always necessary that the people act and put an end to it. If the people stay tight lipped and uninvolved like we the Maldivian people have done so far, then as it happens under Dictators before the ultimate end comes we will have to suffer the bloodshed, violence, chaos and all sorts of destructions, we are seeing today for a long time; destroying the country and the people. Devastations that dictatorships leave in their wake can destroy a nation. Our political parties and the Leaders are too scared to act, as they are staying tight-lipped after getting arrested by the man.
It is time for people power and we have to rise and act. As said at the start we the people have to act now and get rid of this man and his minority group and do so now.
